Angelica received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Perpetual Help College of Manila in 1990, Master of Business Administration with specialization in HealthCare Management degree in 2014 from University of Phoenix and got her Masters degree in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from Kaplan University in 2017.
Angelica has had extensive clinical experience in medical and surgical care, home health care/skilled nursing and as a labor and delivery nurse for several years.She held different management positions providing medical services, utilization review, case management and operations with an HMO and served as the director of clinical services with one of the leading home healthcare agencies in Maryland.
Angelica has great passion for teaching with a broad teaching portfolio in nursing education, childbirth education and as an NRP instructor. She is a well-recognized national speaker and clinical nursing instructor and held clinical faculty positions with Montgomery College and University of Maryland nursing programs and workforce development.
Angelica’s advocacy work has been centered on working internationally with local programs helping people with drug addiction through education and lifestyle change.
